As a presenter, following on from the success of her podcast The Opera Pod, Nina was commissioned by OperaVision – funded by the European Commission – to create the Next Generation podcast series from 2022-2024, exploring how the opera world is developing and nurturing the next generation of talent. She travelled across Europe gaining an insight into four young artist programmes: Oper Frankfurt, Palau de les Arts, Opera for Peace and the Rossini Opera Festival. She interviewed young artists, experts and alumni such as Larry Brownlee, Sumi Jo, Ailyn Perez, Paula Murrihy, Kamal Khan and many more.
Nina has contributed to conferences with Opera Prelude and Opera Europa, where she has presented in London, Prague, and contributed to a Round Table discussion in Wiesbaden.

This podcast series (2022-2024) charts the journeys of singers on four competitive young artist programmes across Europe. With unique access to masterclasses, performances, rehearsal rooms and dressing rooms, Nina learns of the motivations, desires and the challenges the young singers face – alongside gaining insight from experts on how they are nurturing the next generation of opera talent. This series is funded by the European Commission.

The Opera Pod (2020-2022) gives listeners a backstage pass to the opera world. Nina Brazier with her unique experience as a Stage and Staff Director chats to guests from all corners of the opera industry, exploring the influences and obstacles that shaped their journeys, and discovering how they each found a unique operatic voice.
